MARS Recruitment has partnered with a reputable travel and property company in search of an outstanding Financial Planning & Analysis Manager.

This pivotal position involves providing prompt and proactive analyses to the senior leadership, supporting their decision-making. They are looking for someone with strong experience in financial modelling and valuations.

Your responsibilities will include 3-way modelling (Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Cash Flow), valuation modelling for acquisitions and developing budgets.

They are seeking an individual with strong analytical skills, the ability to think creatively, and excellent communication abilities, as this position entails delivering crucial financial analysis to the Senior Leadership Team.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports to the Board
  • Build and maintain the 3way modelling (Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Cash Flow)
  • Manage the budget and forecasting procedures to ensure timely delivery
  • Undertaking a comprehensive quarterly review process
  • Perform monthly consolidation, analysis, and reporting, with a specific emphasis on gaining insight into the fundamental business drivers
  • Prepare scenario modelling of longterm forecast
  • Perform adhoc scenario analyses on transactions and projects
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to align business strategy with financial goals
  • Facilitate datadriven decisionmaking processes
  • Drive financial performance and operational excellence initiatives

Criteria:

  • 8+ years' experience in financial planning and analysis
  • CA/CPA/CFA qualified (or international equivalent)
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Excellent knowledge of financial modelling and forecasting techniques
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments

Note:

  • Work office arrangements: 5 days in the office
  • Only Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents will be considered at this time

SALARY:

  • AU$ AU$170000 per annum + Super + Generous Bonus
