THE OPPORTUNITY


Moët Hennessy Australia & New Zealand is currently seeking a solution-oriented and proactive person to join our dynamic team as
Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, based in Sydney.

Reporting to our Business Planning & Controlling Manager, this role will be responsible for:

  • Leading the annual budget planning and forecast updates (incl. monthly projections), as well as longterm strategic planning.
  • Leading performance and pricing analysis and provide insights and guidance to Sales and Marketing departments.
  • Conduct financial analysis and Balance Sheet Reviews with Finance to derive well rounded risks and opportunities assessment.
  • Partnering with Commercial Finance to ensure robust assessment of forecasts and tracking in place to gauge performance.
  • Preparing business plan packages with insightful performance analysis and solid financial plans.
  • Reviewing P&Ls by brand, by channel and analyse variances to Budget/Forecast/LY, identifying key drivers affecting the financial performance and proposing counter actions.
  • Timely and accurate preparation of management reporting for local and regional teams.

To be successful in this role, you will require the following skills and experience:

  • minimum 10 years' experience in Financial Planning/Finance Controlling in a multinational company, with good knowledge of accounting principles and internal control and processes
- excellent business partnering skills, with the ability to establish and maintain strong productive working relationships
- previous experience in leading and developing a small team
- effective communication and presentation skills and the confidence to challenge others
- strong analytical skills and ability to manage complexity, with the rationality to simplify
- advanced knowledge of MS Excel, with knowledge of Hyperion Essbase and SAP desirable
