About the team

We have reshaped our Business Banking model to provide a better experience for our customers and employees.

We have a new Sales Support team to support our front-line teams and free up capacity for them to provide even greater customer focus than before.

This role sits within the Lending Assessment Support Team which is responsible for providing specialist pre and post approval support to front line teams to deliver expected business results and customer outcomes.

About the role


As the Team Manager of our Property Relationship Support Team you will lead a team of Senior Relationship Associates who work closely with our Commercial Property Lenders to provide customer service excellence by delivering a seamless experience for the customer.


Your key focusses will be:

Support your team to be their best: 1-on-1's, training new staff, on-going coaching to uplift capability, performance management

Operational excellence:
ensure consistent, customer focused, cost effective and quality operational support is provided to the Group's customers, partners and other departments

Stakeholder engagement:
Regular meetings with Region Managers, Bankers and credit to discuss pipeline, risk and issues

Workflow management:
Allocate work using a real time management program (ActiveOps), manage escalations, planning and reporting


This is a permanent position which can be based anywhere across Australia, provided you have access to one of our offices or branches.

Hybrid ways of working are core to how we operate today, and flexible work options are available.

We are also open to the role being either full time or part time (0.8 FTE or up), so talk to us about what flexibility looks like to you.

Does this sound like you?

Demonstrated experience in Commercial Property lending and management of complex customer relationships
An unwavering focus on people capability and development and ability to coach and lead to achieve outstanding performance
A strong customer focus and drive
A demonstrated focus on Operational excellence - achieving agreed success measures through team performance
Proven experience in leading an efficient and effective high volume and service level driven processing team is highly desirable, particularly with exposure to business banking, agri business or operational banking teams
