The Role

As the Information and Document Control Manager, your role will be crucial in guaranteeing the smooth management and regulation of all project-related information and documents across the entirety of the Snowy 2.0 project's lifecycle. You'll implement and upkeep strong systems and procedures to oversee project documentation, ensuring alignment with regulatory mandates and industry benchmarks.

The ideal candidate should be eager to move to Cooma and collaborate closely with the Snowy Hydro 2.0 Project team. We provide relocation assistance for those making the move.

Responsibilities include:

Creation and ownership of the Document Control and Information Management System for Snowy Hydro 2.0 Project.

Collaborate closely with project stakeholders, including engineers, contractors, and clients, to ensure effective communication and coordination of document control activities.

Overseeing the organisation, storage, maintenance and retrieval of electronic and hard copy project documentation, ensuring accessibility and version control.

Ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and project-specific contractual obligations related to document control and information management.

Training and supporting the project team members on document control procedures and systems, promoting adherence to best practices.

Identifying and mitigating risks associated with document control and information management, implementing controls to prevent data loss or unauthorised access. Working with the Cybersecurity team on the security of Snowy 2.0 documents.

Facilitating change management process for project documentation, including the revision, approval, and dissemination of updated documents.

You'll Bring To The Team:

A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Information Management, Document Control, or Engineering, coupled with proven experience in document control or information management, preferably within the infrastructure or construction industry. Your proficiency in document control software and systems, such as Documentum, SharePoint, or similar platforms, along with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to document control and information management, will be invaluable assets. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills enable effective liaison with internal and external stakeholders, while your demonstrated leadership capabilities, including experience leading a team or managing projects, ensure your capacity to drive success in this role.
