About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Control Specialist to join our team at Future Generation Joint Venture - FGJV. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring document control compliance to support our project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake document control activities for departments assigned to, Design, Technical E&M, Quality, Environment, and Site.
  • Conduct quality control checks on all submittals of FGJV documentation.
  • Verify the quality of documents received from subcontractors.
  • Process subcontractors' documentation, both incoming and outgoing.
  • Process documentation for SHL review, both incoming and outgoing.
  • Ensure best practice turnaround of documentation is achieved and maintained.
  • Reduce metadata errors through comprehensive quality control checks.
Requirements
  • Recognized tertiary qualifications within a relevant field of study, preferred but not essential.
  • White Card.
  • 1-3 years of experience working in document control, preferably in the construction industry.
Competencies
  • Working knowledge of EDMS systems.
  • Sound problem-solving skills.
  • Strong initiative and proactive nature.
  • Key collaborative skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Well-developed time management skills.
  • High attention to detail with exceptional report writing ability.
  • Exceptional knowledge and ability in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
