The Role
Based in the Finance team, the Billing Administrator is primarily responsible for a range of key functions relating to the firm's main partnership. Responsibilities include:
Data entry and maintenance of existing client and matter information within the practice management systemProvide billing support to the Firm's billing professionals and legal secretariesAssistance with the raising of pre bills when requiredMaintenance of pro bono and complimentary matters in the practice management systemUploading of invoices into client online billing portalsManagement of billing support inboxMaintenance of client and matter rates in the practice management systemUser maintenance within the practice management system.The Candidate
Ideally you will have, 2 years' experience with office systems and computerised processes.
Experience in a professional services firm (preferably law) whilst not essential, is highly desirable. In addition, you will have:
Excellent written and verbal communication skillsData entry and/or maintenance experience preferableAble to display tact and diplomacy whilst dealing with sensitive financial issues to achieve a desirable outcomeAble to work with minimal supervision and as a team memberOrganised, pro-active with a high sense of confidentiality and discretionCompetent knowledge of Excel and Practice Management softwarePrevious exposure to Aderant/Expert is highly desirable.What is in it for you
