Quality and Compliance Officer:

Main Functions:

Your Quality responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in maintaining the FAMI-QS Quality system and documentation;
  • Liaising with global quality teams for local related requirements;
  • Document & investigate all Complaint & Nonconformance incidents;
  • Maintaing current and assisting in creating new product organic certifications;
  • Assisting with product registrations and certifications by liaising with local industry and/or government organisations;
  • Assisting maintenance and implementation of Oenology, Baking & Brewing business unit quality systems where required;
  • Attending any training/meetings required to carry out efficient and effective quality, feed/food safety & feed/food fraud practices;

Your WHS responsibilities will include:

  • Promoting awareness of the Lallemand Australia WHS Management System throughout the organisation including promoting a safe working environment;
  • Encourage employees and staff to take on a culture of no harm;
  • Conducting investigations (Accidents, incidents, near misses and unsafe working conditions) in consultation with workers and management;
  • Including reporting of identified hazards and appropriate risk control measures to Management;
  • Oversee the WHS Management System to ensure accountability and responsibility;
  • Revising and update policies and procedures relating to WHS;
  • Providing monthly reports to the Team on the performance of the WHS and Injury Management System;
  • Assisting maintenance of Oenology, Baking & Brewing business unit WHS systems where required;
  • Attending any training/meetings required to carry out efficient WHS practices;
