As the primary health network (PHN) provider for Central Queensland, Wide Bay, and Sunshine Coast, CCQ aims to enhance health outcomes across the region. To achieve this, CCQ requires forward-thinking individuals who will focus on not only delivering healthcare services but also addressing the environmental, social, and cultural factors influencing community health.

CCQ's vast region spans 161,108 km2, serving nearly 1 million people, with a significant portion residing in remote areas or facing socio-economic challenges. By collaborating with the community, CCQ strives to deliver exceptional primary healthcare services and reduce health disparities. The organization's key health priorities include mental health, substance abuse, Indigenous health, public health, healthcare workforce, digital health, and aged care.

This role offers you the chance to lead corporate operations and drive organizational transformation. Reporting to the CEO, you will oversee HR, ICT, Operations, Risk Management, Quality Assurance, and Finance departments to ensure alignment with CCQ's mission.

Responsibilities include contributing to CCQ's strategic plan, collaborating with senior leadership to meet organizational objectives, and implementing user-friendly corporate services. You will also cultivate positive relationships with external stakeholders and regulatory bodies.

In collaboration with the CFO, you will manage budget allocations, enhance HR processes, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and drive technological advancements through IT initiatives. Moreover, you will oversee office management, maintain ISO 9001 accreditation, and implement risk management strategies to safeguard the organization.

To qualify for this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in business administration or finance, along with relevant experience in similar positions. Proficiency in financial management, strategic planning, and strong leadership skills are essential. Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders are vital. Possessing CPA or similar certification is advantageous.
