About the role


The role has an important focus within a team structure to providing exemplary customer service and specialist advice relating to the recruitment and placement of school based staff.

The role provides support and advice to a high volume of phone and online inquiries.

The Advisor, School Recruitment and Placement collaborates with team members in the delivery of accurate, reliable and targeted outcomes that meet customer expectations.

This role requires a deep understanding of customers' needs and draws upon previous experience and specialist knowledge to effectively resolve internal and external customer enquiries in a prompt and professional way

  • A talent pool may be created through this recruitment process. A talent pool is a group of applicants who have been assessed and identified as suitable for this role, and who may be considered for a range of similar roles, including temporary, term or ongoing roles, over the next 18 months._

Key knowledge and experience

  • Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
