The role
Origin Zero are leading the journey to help our large business customers on their decarbonisation journeys.

We're creating long-term partnerships, helping customers to optimise their demand and match it with tailored energy solutions, focusing on reducing carbon emissions, providing low carbon supply solutions and ongoing optimisation and orchestration of assets to hit long term objectives.


You'll play a crucial role in the development of Origin Zero as a key conduit for our customers and teams, working with medium to large commercial and industrial businesses nationally to achieve growth targets and manage end-to-end delivery of structured sales campaigns to retain, acquire and contract customers.


  • Achieve customer growth targets and manage the endtoend delivery of structured sales campaigns to retain, acquire and contract customers within Business Customers.
  • Assist and resolve customer enquiries throughout the contract lifecycle whilst maintaining data integrity of customer information through the sales process.
  • Support the growth of Origin Zero by partnering with Business Customers both existing & new to support the shift to more tailored and flexible energy solutions both existing and emerging.
  • Provide competitive feedback on current market pricing and competitor activity to enable our Pricing team to develop and react better to the current market environment.

About you

  • Prior experience in a comparable role managing a national client base within B2B sales, demonstrating exceptional stakeholder management and a serviceoriented account management approach.
  • Capable of building strong relationships, contractual commercial skills and ability to influence and implement sales strategies with tactical innovation.
  • Demonstratable understanding of change management associated with the handling of business accounts for complex customers or industry segments.
  • Ability to identify risks, develop mitigation and control plans, support continuous improvement, and ensure ongoing compliance with standard operating procedures.
  • Decisive and can implement change effectively but have the capability to deal with ambiguity.
