Known is currently seeking a creatively minded Brand and Content Lead to shape our brand strategy and develop a compelling and distinct visual identity.

Our Marketing team is focused on maximising revenue growth to achieve Known's ambitious aspirations to scale with particular focus on new customer acquisition and go-to-market strategy, as well as enhancing existing customer engagement.


Our goals are to:

  • Build an
    exceptional brand that is well known in target markets as trusted, innovative, and appealing.
  • Deliver insightdriven
    customer engagement programs that deliver exceptional customer experiences and
    revenue growth.
  • Support
    operational excellence to scale the business via a strong martech stack, employer branding and change management.

The Role
We are looking for a talented Brand and Content Lead who has previously worked within software/SaaS or technology industries. This individual should be an expert in creating and maintaining a vision for a company's branding. They will be working closely with our Director of Marketing.

Key focus areas will be:

  • Leading a website redesign and roll out, a very complex project with many moving parts including running UX workshops, etc.
  • An uplift in technical design and our visual identity.
  • Rebranding, especially selling it into our organisation and activating it internally.
  • Determining the best way to visually represent an idea and produce highlevel creative concepts to deliver real business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
It's an exciting environment where no two days are the same.

But on a typical day you might find yourself:

  • Uncovering consumer insight and opportunities by running trend, market, and consumer research.
  • Maximising the return on marketing investment and communicating value for customers by developing and executing communication strategies.
  • Inspiring creative solutions that uniquely position and differentiate the brand by providing strategic direction.
  • Planning and guiding the layout and visuals for all creative concepts, coaching our Senior Designer and Animator to execute the vision.
  • Driving change to ensure the brand strategy is activated in every internal and external aspect, including customer support, product, user experience through to People & Culture, as a Brand Evangelist.
  • Activating and amplifying the brand strategy in marketing campaigns and activations, including relaunch of sites, owning branding and website strategy.
  • Developing creative solutions that result in effective, breakthrough communication around our products and solutions and helping articulate our value propositions by crafting compelling content plans.
  • Partnering with designers and creatives to realise it by bringing the brand to life with compelling content.
  • Owning the messaging of content creation and leading freelance copywriters on a project basis by assisting in creating distinctive copy for key marketing collateral.
  • Creating differentiation through design by coaching the design team to bring the brand strategy to life.

  • Prior experience serving in a leadership role for larger projects.
  • Extensive knowledge in artistic and visual design.
  • Proven success in crafting and executing brand strategies.
  • Understanding of design thinking and UX design principles.
  • Experience in copywriting, photography, graphic design and other creative areas.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field.
  • Experience as a Creative Director, agency side, is well regarded.
