Who are we looking for?

We're looking for a Natural Resources & Bushfire Consultant to join our Sydney Natural Resources & Agriculture team , with the flexibility to be working from one of our many offices across the NSW region.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

The delivery of bushfire risk management, forestry & land management projects Demonstrated experience in Bushfire Risk Assessments, Bushfire Management Plans (BMPs), Bushfire hazard reduction strategies and Strategic Bushfire Studies. Site assessment and performance solutions. Designing and delivering hazard reduction strategies. Project management lifecycle. Planning to delivery phase. Creating solutions for key clients Collaborating with the wider natural resources group including ecology & agriculture teams Building GHD's bushfire & forestry management offering in the NSW region

What you will bring to the team:

4+ years' professional experience in similar role Experience in background Bushfire Risk Assessments, Bushfire Management Plans, and land-management projects Demonstrated experience in project management, with an ability to deliver on time and on budget. An interest in supporting GHD's commitment to sustainability and building resilient futures for our community and key clients. Relevant tertiary education in environmental science, agriculture, or equivalent.
