One of Australia's leading General Insurance companies is currently hiring a Pricing Lead in their Natural Perils Pricing team. The role will be supporting the underwriting, ratings and pricing of Natural Perils.

Responsibilities:

  • Enhancing pricing capability in natural perils and catastrophe modelling.
  • Assessing natural peril risk by identify, evaluating and sourcing external data.
  • Support technical oversight of natural perils to underwriting agencies.
  • Provide geographic Information systems (GIS) visualisation of perils risk.
  • Support data strategy in relation to geographic information systems (GIS) and natural perils.
  • Communicate and work collaboratively across various team and key stakeholders.

Qualification/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Studies or relevant field.
  • 4+ years' experience in general insurance pricing with catastrophe modelling or natural perils.
  • Exceptional level of written, verbal, interpersonal and presentation skillsets
