About the Opportunity

Exciting opportunities exist within 3D Health (Disability Services) Team to join us as the Access Assistant Program (AAP) Manager, in a full time capacity until 14 th April 2025.

The Access Assistant Program (AAP) Manager is responsible to provide staff in supporting students with complex health needs and/or a disability to enable participation in government or non-government preschool or school.

The AAP Manager:

  • Provides effective day to day management of Unlicensed Health Care Workers (ULHCW)/ Health Support Officers to support clients who have complex health needs within their educational setting;
  • Coordinates the day-to-day services by rostering staff; coordinating training and works in partnership with health professionals, educational representatives to support students, parents and primary caregiver;
  • Plays a pivotal role communicating with families and both government and non-government sites;
  • Leads a region and is accountable for quality and risk management; maintaining regional partnerships and ensuring WCHN key performance indicators and service delivery goals are met.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) including the ability to foster professional working relationships both internally and externally.
  • Ability to persuade and negotiate to ensure positive outcomes.
  • Ability to manage conflict with a number of stakeholders including a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience in managing a multidisciplinary team and the ability to maximise individual and team performance in a changing environment.
  • A proven record of success in providing quality customer services to staff and stakeholders to achieve client satisfaction
  • A demonstrated ability to manage financial and budget requirements including the assessment and management of risk.
