Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our team in Mile End South. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating supervisors, site engineers, and sub-contractors across multiple work fronts and disciplines.

You will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage and coordinate supervisors, site engineers, and sub-contractors to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  2. Develop and implement project plans, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  3. Liaise with community, council, and service authorities to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
  4. Program and coordinate works to completion by critical dates to meet planned occupation works.
  5. Identify and issue variations and EOT's to subcontractor's original scope of works and analysis of costs.
  6. Identify design and constructability issues, and assist in providing the most efficient solution, taking into account interest of key stakeholders and the delivery team.
Requirements
  1. A degree-level qualification in Engineering (Civil).
  2. Ideally 5 years' experience in project delivery across mid to large-scale civil projects.
  3. Strong ability to both prioritise and problem solve while managing stakeholder interests.
  4. A solid performer, with professional acumen and exceptional communication skills.
  5. A strong safety focus and flexibility to operate between numerous projects.
