Reporting into and providing quality advice to a dynamic and well-respected Board, the Chief Executive Officer is responsible for the strategic leadership and management of the company, managing mass participation sporting events.
Providing strategic oversight and working operationally with a high-performing team you will oversee the creative development, planning, management, and execution of events while developing and sustaining effective collaborative partnerships and strategic alliances with a range of partners.
A seasoned leader, you will possess a proven track record of implementing innovative strategies, developing systems, reporting, marketing, and risk management while fostering an environment of cooperation, enablement, and collaboration across the organisation.
Additionally, your passion and drive will see you striving to generate new revenue pipelines and drive commercial partnerships while continuing to maintain the organisation's outstanding reputation for service delivery.
A growth focused role, this is your opportunity to generate significant social, community and economic benefit.
Commercially minded with strong people leadership, expert knowledge of financial and governance disciplines, and a desire to take a hands-on approach with the execution of the events portfolio.
You will have gained your experience from key sporting bodies, destination events for marketing or tourism enabling your comprehensive knowledge of mass participation sporting events.
