You are a highly experienced senior leader within the Industry Association space. You have a passion for advocacy and are able to demonstrate significant key achievements in this area, at both Federal and State levels. You bring with you extensive relationships – you have the connections required to advocate successfully and easefully. You are comfortable making media appearances, speaking at events, and have the gravitas and credibility to do so.

Here is your opportunity to join a national Industry Association that has over 6000 members. Each state and territory has a CEO, so a part of your role is meeting regularly with these teams and supporting them in attracting and retaining members due to the success of your advocacy efforts. In addition, you will manage a small national support team.

The Association's head office is in Sydney so it is preferable that you are based or are willing to be based there, however candidates in Melbourne or Canberra will also be considered. There will be significant travel required in the role. Specific industry experience would be an advantage but is not essential, however a senior leadership role (ideally as CEO) with a heavy emphasis on advocacy, is mandatory for consideration.

This Association is in great financial shape and the role has become available due to the retirement of the incumbent, who has been doing a great job. As such, this is your opportunity to take over a very successful Association and lead it into a bright future.
