The Receptionist/Ward Clerk is the first point of contact for staff and patients. This position also provides valuable help to the technical and medical staff within the department using a wide range of administrative skills. Including and not exclusive to the following, Reception and registration of all patients, make bookings, and perform all other clerical duties required for a cardiology diagnostic &/or appointment, processing referrals in line with Specialist Clinics access policy. Answer queries from patients, staff and medical officers, demonstrate an excellent standard of customer service to provide patients with a positive experience while visiting Bendigo Health. Undertake the full range of clerical duties activities including filing, faxing, emailing and photocopying as required (& other administrative & customer service duties as required), active involvement in designated portfolio (e.g. rosters, quality, orientation) and the ability to work within a team environment and autonomously.

Your new division

The Clinical Operations Division encompasses acute, allied health, cancer and mental health services. We provide a wide range of general medical, surgical and specialty services including but not limited to; Oncology, Cardiology, Renal, Emergency, Women's and Children's, Critical Care, Specialist Clinics, Cancer Clinics and Mental Health Services. Our Allied Health teams provide a diverse range of programs and person centred care in inpatient, outpatient, community, home and residential care settings.
