The Position

Position Title:
Diagnostic Cardiologist (Fractional Specialist)

Classification:
HN1- HN58 (Medical Specialist Years - 9)

Salary per hour (exc. super):
Year 1 Specialist $158.85 to Year 9 $206.22
Contracted Hours: 31.5 hours per fortnight or 0.45 FTE

Employment Status:
Permanent Part Time (ongoing)

Other requirements:
COVID-19 vaccination plus Booster and Specialist Registration with AHPRA along with suitable college requirements

Role Description

This is an ongoing Imaging Cardiologist in Diagnostic Cardiology appointment creating an exciting opportunity for an experienced specialist to provide diagnostic cardiology services for a leading regional health service and provision of consultative services at regular outpatient clinics.

Please refer to Position Description for duties.
There is potential scope for Cardiologists hours/FTE to be increased pending outcome of funding review.

The Cardiology Team

The Cardiology department is responsible for patients in several departments including inpatient wards, emergency department, ICU/CCU in addition to Cath Lab, Diagnostic Cardiology and Cardiology outpatients.

The Cardiology department is led by a Clinical Unit Head and managed by a Business Manager.
