In this pivotal role, you'll be the backbone of our transport reconciliation and billing processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in every task.

From liaising with operations for precise transport data to handling carrier invoices reconciliation and customer billing, your work will directly impact our financial success and customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage carrier invoices reconciliation, ensuring accurate transport data reflection in our systems
  • Regularly update SOPs and drive transport GP analysis
  • Innovate and automate tasks and workflows for increased efficiency
  • Handle monthend accruals and reporting, along with detailed P&L reviews
  • Use TMS for reconciliation and SAP/LFS for data posting
  • Resolve disputes and liaise with carriers and customers to ensure timely and accurate billing
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
  • Support a cohesive relationship between finance and operations teams, including travel to DB Schenker sites

What We're Looking For:

  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills
  • Strong business acumen and teamwork spirit
  • Eagerness to learn with a positive attitude
  • Solid understanding of industry legislation and operations
  • Intermediate to high knowledge in accounting functions and advanced computer skills
  • Experience in administrative, accounts, or cost operations roles, especially with customer pricing and billing
  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Financial Services is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook; knowledge of SAP/LFS and TMS (training provided)
