About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Billings and Revenue Officer to join our team at UGL. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely billing of train movements on the Country Regional Network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure accurate and timely billing of Rolling Stock Operators for rail movements on the CRN.
  • Maintain close relationships with internal stakeholders, including Network Access Planners, Network Controllers, and the finance team.
  • Ensure accurate monthly billing and revenue reports are issued in accordance with Access Agreement requirements.
  • Manage the accurate setup of new customer accounts in collaboration with RSOs, Network Access Lead, and Finance.
  • Escalate non-compliance with Access Agreements to management and submit FM Claims/Credits for approval where required.
  • Manage the Mayfield general office building, including ordering stationery, visitor inductions, and organizing building maintenance.
  • Ensure accurate filing of Network Control documents, such as Electronic Train Control Graphs.
  • Manage Network Operations documentation via SharePoint and identify areas for improvement.
  • Compile reporting data as requested by management and participate in UGLRL planning-based projects and improvements.
  • Assist the Train Control Manager in Voice Recording Transcripts where required.
Requirements
  • Year 12 higher School Certificate.
  • Qualifications in Business Administration or equivalent desirable.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role.
  • Highly developed communication skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Access Agreements and other agreements used within the rail industry for the purposes of access revenue.
