Job Description

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, including order processing, invoicing, debtor and credit management, payroll, and banking transactions. You will also oversee inventory controls and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Transaction Management: Ensure accuracy in day-to-day financial transactions, including order processing, invoicing, debtor and credit management, payroll, and banking transactions.
  • End of Month & Board Reporting: Complete all reconciliations to produce end of month reporting for each business unit, covering P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports.
  • Product Cost Modelling & BOMs: Ensure accuracy and adjustments are made to bill of materials to reflect raw material variances, production and labour costs.
  • Statutory Reporting: Ensure statutory obligations are correctly calculated and met, including PAYG, GST, Payroll Tax, Work Cover, and Superannuation.
  • Capital Investments: Manage and process capital spend and reporting.
  • Strategic Planning, Forecasting, & Budgeting: Participate in annual budget planning, monthly forecasting, and quarterly planning.
  • Management of Company Accounts: Ensure accuracy of transactions being correctly coded and managed within all software systems.
  • Management of Finance Resources: Manage, train, and develop lower-level team members.

To be successful in this position, you will have the following attributes:

  • CA/CPA Qualified
  • Relevant working experience, preferably in a Manufacturing/Agri environment
  • Strong leadership abilities
  • Experience in end-to-end Accounting
  • Costing and BOMs experience
  • Knowledge of Netsuite or other relevant ERP systems
