The Role


Working as part of the Recoveries department, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of credit hire and repairer claims end to end.

More specifically, this role will involve investigating and reviewing of documentations, and liaising with third parties and insurers to achieve maximum revenue recovery and minimum write-off values.


This role would suit a professional that has strong stakeholder management skills and has previous experience managing a portfolio of motor vehicle and/or credit hire claims.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of credit hire and repairer claims
  • Liaise with relevant parties to determine and assess claim, coverage, liability, and settlement
  • Investigate and interpret claim related documentation such as assessment reports, estimated costs and relevant invoices
  • Manage and discuss the recovery fee of a fault claim with relevant parties to maximise the recovery potential
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with all stakeholders, both internal and external

Essential criteria:

  • Minimum 23+ years' experience working within the insurance industry or a legal firm
  • Previous experience managing a portfolio of claims with exposure to Motor Vehicle Hire/Credit hire
  • Teritary qualified
  • Analytical mindset and strong communication skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast paced environment
