The primary purpose of the Officer, Business Services is to provide a range of administrative tasks that contribute to the achievement of Infrastructure and Property's daily operations.

The role will provide a high level of administrative support including coordination of IP's travel and accommodation needs, coordination of meeting and events including catering/logistics and executive calendar support.

The role will provide relief to the broader Business Services Team and other administrative tasks as required.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinate Infrastructure and Property's travel and accommodation requests
  • Support and assist the group and delivery of events and team meetings, including room bookings, catering requests, managing RSVP's, event logistics and other duties in regards to the successful delivery of events and team meetings
  • Provide administrative support services to IP staff that contribute to the efficiency of operations and a sound work environment
  • Provide support in the management of the Executive Director's calendar, including coordination and booking of meetings
  • Drafting meeting notes and actions as required

To be successful, you'll have:

  • Experience in a fastpaced customer service environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Accuracy, attention to detail and highly organised
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, exercise sound judgement, taking initiative and exercising sound judgement in resolving matters that may arise as part of normal daily activities or tasks
  • Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite
