The Company

My client is a highly regarded global business with well established presence in the Australian market. They are expanding their Data Science and AI Capabilities and looking to appoint a Senior Manager, Advanced Analytics, Data Science and AI

Reporting directly to the GM, you will be part of the senior leadership team with accountability for a team of experienced Data Scientists

Key accountabilities will include.

  • Leading a team of data scientists
  • Working closely with the executive leadership team to advance the adoption of advanced analytics, data science and AI capability for the business
  • Engaging with senior stakeholders across the business to lead delivery of data science projects based on the strategic road map on time and in budget.
  • Developing and implementing Advanced Analytics and Data Science and AI solutions including the art advanced statistical and machine learning models (GLM, Random Forests, GBM, xGBoost, etc) to drive commercial outcomes.

Your Background

  • Demonstrated experience in leading a Advanced Analytics and Data Science team
  • We are looking at someone with a proven background in a Data Science role to provide thought leadership within this space
  • Experience of using advanced analytics, data mining, statistical methods and machine-learning techniques (GLM, Random Forests, GBM, xGBoost, DGN, etc) to drive project outcomes.
  • Comfortable assuming both leadership and with some requirement to be hands and provide strategic guidance and though leadership or the design and delivery of Data Science and AI Solutions
