ING Australia is currently seeking a Senior Credit Risk Analytics Manager. In this role, you will conduct comprehensive data analysis on various segments of the mortgage portfolio to enhance customer and business outcomes. You will play a vital role in driving strategic initiatives, optimizing growth, and implementing sustainable solutions for ING Australia. This position requires strong analytical capabilities, in-depth knowledge of credit risk management, and the ability to collaborate efficiently with multidisciplinary teams. You will have the freedom to propose and implement solutions based on data insights, take ownership of your projects, engage with stakeholders, and seek approval from senior management.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare detailed credit proposals in collaboration with the Senior Credit Policy Manager and present findings to internal stakeholders, including senior management and credit committees.
  • Collaborate with distribution teams to understand client requirements, identify risks, and structure suitable credit solutions.
  • Monitor and evaluate the mortgage credit portfolio, identify potential risks, and recommend proactive measures to mitigate losses.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory shifts, and market developments to enhance credit risk assessments and risk management strategies.

What We're Looking For

  • Extensive experience (5+ years) in credit analysis within a financial institution, focusing on commercial or corporate lending.
  • Solid grasp of financial statements, credit metrics, and risk assessment methodologies.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, capable of articulating complex concepts clearly.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, effectively managing multiple priorities.
