Randstad's Supply Chain specialist Hayley Wilson is currently recruiting for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join a forward thinking business that is keeping their supply chain ahead of the curve to achieve continued success and growth. This role will be offered as a permanent position, on a full time basis for our manufacturing client based in Perth.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Negotiate detailed supply contracts and agreements on behalf of the company to secure optimal terms and conditions.
  • Controlling & managing inventory levels across multiple locations utilising an ERP system.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance supply chain efficiency.
  • Manage pricing data in accordance with procurement department, and production.
  • Reviewing and reporting variances across inventory, costing and supplier contracts.
  • Working with existing suppliers to ensure adherence to service level agreements.
  • Assisting other supply chain departments to allocate stock correctly, and to anticipate demand.

Key requirements include:

  • Experience in supply chain management within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Extensive experience in strategic procurement.
  • Strong knowledge of contemporary procurement and supply chain practices.
  • Advanced Excel skills, ERP experience and ability to analyse data.
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work with multiple stakeholders and department heads.
  • Tertiary qualifications in supply chain or commerce, and MCIPS qualifications or similar industry equivalent are desired.
