The Company


Salt is excited to have partnered with a leading IT Services organisation, who is currently looking for a Systems Admin to join one of their Operations teams based on an initial 6-month contract.


The Role


As a Systems Admin, you'll be working in one of our clients Operating teams where you will work across maintenance troubleshooting and help to research new projects across the network.

The position will also involve troubleshooting a large variety of situations and products within both a Microsoft and Linux environment.


Key Skills and Competencies:

The successful Systems Admin should have the following skill set:

  • Exchange Server 2013 administration, maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Windows Server 2008 and above. Operating System administration, maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Linux experience (administration and maintenance)
  • Active directory management and maintenance (User management, group policy)
  • DNS server management and maintenance
  • VMware knowledge and skills
  • Management of onprem and OCVS infrastructure
  • Build visualized servers
  • Monitor and suggest improvements
  • Exposure to various Cloud Services
  • Azure
  • AWS
