Your opportunity


As our Facilities Services Field Officer, you will inspect and undertake planned, reactive and corrective maintenance activities across Council buildings and facilities.

This position will see you working on the mainland, North Stradbroke Island, Coochiemudlo and Southern Moreton Bay Islands.

Guided by our Values, you will:

  • Maintain Council's building asset management software.
  • Inspect Council buildings completing condition reports, identify risks and safety issues and prioritise works for completion.
  • Undertake planned and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Coordinate the works of Council contractors.

Eligibility

  • You'll hold a Current Open C class Driver's Licence
  • You'll have the ability to participate in the afterhours oncall roster, including remote response and siterelated operations over weekends and public holidays on a rostered basis
  • To be eligible for employment, applicants must have the legal right to work in Australia.
