About the role

The WHS Site Coordinator works under the WHS Manager and is part of the NSW WHS team, focusing on maintaining safety standards and ensuring compliance. Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting site inspections and assisting with WHS audits
  • Managing risk actions and maintaining incident reports
  • Leading toolbox meetings and addressing non-conformance issues
  • Assisting with subcontractor WHS management and incident response
  • Providing training and resources to subcontractors on-site
  • Preparing inspection reports and suggesting actions
  • Supporting the WHS management team administratively as needed
  • Collaborating cross-functionally for continuous improvement

About you

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a similar role
  • Cert IV in Work Health and Safety or equivalent
  • Hold current White Card, First Aid Certificate, and Driver's Licence
  • Deep knowledge of WHS Legislation & Regulations in the Construction Industry
  • Proven record in implementing WHS management systems
  • Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and a team player
  • Willingness to travel daily across project sites
