The Opportunity

Come and explore the opportunity to be part of our Orrcon Steel team in Salisbury as a Customer Service Representative position. Orrcon Steel is a prominent Australian steel distributor and steel tube and pipe manufacturer with well-known brands across the nation.

Join our supportive customer service team known for delivering consistently high levels of service. You'll engage with customers via phone and email, providing top-notch service to drive sales growth and nurture lasting relationships both now and in the future.

No prior experience in steel or the construction industry is needed. Your immediate value will come from your dedication to exceptional customer service and your eagerness to learn and grow.

What Will You Be Doing?

As a primary point of contact for sales and service inquiries, your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and following up on customer quotes
  • Handling sales queries via email and phone, encompassing both inbound and outbound calls
  • Identifying opportunities for value-added services with customers
  • Reaching out to new or existing customers to explore potential sales growth opportunities
  • Supporting our external sales teams and branches nationwide
  • Providing internal support and regular feedback to relevant sales teams on customer and competitor insights
  • Resolving issues and seeking ways to enhance the overall customer experience

  • Previous experience in a customer service setting
