ABOUT THE ROLE
As the NSW Cartage Coordinator, you will be primarily responsible for arranging the timely delivery of FCL, LCL & Airfreight cargo to our customers with essential duties & responsibilities as follows:

  • Obtaining cartage instructions from customers
  • Paying out entries (as required) & vendor invoices
  • Liaise with depots for container & freight availability
  • Monitor customs & quarantine release status
  • Arrange timely delivery of customer's cargo
  • Monitor container returns to avoid detention charges
  • Invoice clients
  • Develop & maintain relationships with customers & vendors
  • Registrations
  • Cargo reporting
  • Prealerts & arrival notices
  • Invoicing & requesting delivery orders
  • Arranging unpacks & release of cargo
  • Job costing & EOM closure
  • Develop & maintain relationships with customers & vendors

WHATS REQUIRED

  • Demonstrated experience in cartage or transport coordination with an International Freight Forwarder is essential
  • Import sea operations experience would be highly advantageous
  • CargoWise preferred but not essential
  • Strong relationship building experience with excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
  • Well organised with the ability to multitask
  • High level attention to detail & problem solving skills
