Your Role:

  • Design and specification of domestic roof top solar.
  • Rough design and specification of the DC electrical system; from input into the PV module design of commercial solar system.
  • Quoting and supporting Sales team.
  • Liaising with the local power distributors to secure grid connection agreements and providing technical documentation processes for future to projects.
  • Speaking with suppliers and sorting stock delivery
  • Coordinating with Electricians/Installers
  • Managing cost in design and ensuring safety in the design process.
  • Researching and developing ideas and standards and thinking outside normal procedures.
  • Visiting sites and getting details if required.

What we need:

To be considered for the position you will have;

  • Experience in the domestic Solar Design and Projects.
  • Knowledge about solar installations and admin work.
  • Knowledge in DC designing 100kW projects will be helpful not required.
  • Knowledge in DC designs & modeling of solar / batteries project in Australia is required.
  • Knowledge in DNSP or Grid approvals and compliance requirements for domestic jobs.
  • Experience in Opensolar, Pylon, PVSYST, AUTOCAD or Similar Software.
  • Solid technical understanding of Solar PV and electronics.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Excellent Communication skills are essential, with the ability to negotiate and handle difficult conversations with clients.
