The Opportunity On behalf of a large Federal Government Agency, we are looking for an APS6 Project Officer.
This is a 12-month assignment based in Richmond or Geelong.

The role will work a hybrid arrangement, Monday to Friday, 7.5 hours per day and will be paying $60.26 per hour plus super.

Working in the Service Design team, the teamsprimary goal will be to improve the experience of the participants and their interactions with the agency.

Responsibilities include; Developing and managing project plans and schedules in accordance with the project management framework.
Performing independent research work and analysis including the preparation of draft reports, including on relevant governance activities.
Co-creating and documenting current state , to identify current participant and staff experience and business processes.
Co-facilitating design-thinking sessions with service users to design and test future service processes, channel, and experiences.
Preparing draft written material including business cases, plans, executive briefs and corporate documentation.

Overseeing end-to-end service experiences in line with the Digital Service Standard, ensuring changes are consistent for all users across different touchpoints.

To be considered for this role you will demonstrate; Previous experience in a similar role Experience working within a compliance and regulatory framework.

Highly developed communication skills - including written communications Strong stakeholder engagement skills Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and work in a dynamic environment.
