The business distributes through an established dealer network located throughout Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.
A rare opportunity has arisen to join the leadership team at Kobelco. The role is based at our national headquarters at Eastern Creek in Sydney.

The Role:
This senior role reports to the Managing Director and is a member of a highly effective leadership team.
The role is responsible for excavator sales to national account customers, as well as assisting the dealer network to improve machine sales in their territory

Key Responsibilities:
As a member of the leadership team, provide input on the Kobelco sales and marketing strategy. Relationship management with the existing Kobelco national account customers to support the customer and generate additional machine sales.
Identify and develop new Kobelco National Account customers to increase machine sales.
Support the dealer network by assisting their sales representatives with sales to customers in their territory or region.

Provide product sales training to the dealer network to highlight the features and benefits of the Kobelco products Assist marketing with video introductions to new products Complete and manage the tender process for local government bodies throughout Australia Participate in Kobelco controlled field day events.

Host customer trips to Japan as required.

Experience and skills required:

At least 10 years construction equipment industry sales experience, including with large corporate clients Excavator product knowledge Advanced negotiation skills and thorough understanding of the sales processes involved with Capital Equipment purchases Experience working with multiple stakeholders at a National level Excellent interpersonal and strong customer relationship skills Able to work as part of a small high performing team Competent in Microsoft Office applications Experience in using CRM tools Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent presentation skills Strong analytical skills Tertiary education qualifications preferred A competitive salary plus bonus and a car allowance are on offer with this role.
