About the Role


Customer Consultant works as part of the Camera Service team providing front line support to customers seeking service and repairs for their digital imaging products.

Working closely with a Technical Specialist, they will be responsible for managing all administration aspects of the repair process.

Scope of the role includes:

  • Service counter support telephone and face to face customer support that can involve receiving products, managing customer satisfaction issues/demands, liaise with Camera Service workshop technicians and/or Technical Services to address technical matters, processing payment and subsequent dispatch/product returns.
  • Identify/process quotations directly from the work queue in CDSS.
  • Review all relevant notes in CDSS to ensure the accuracy of the work report and charges drafted by the technician.
  • Submit the final invoice / charges for all Melbourne repairs.
  • Liaise with the relevant individual/s from Camera Service Macquarie Park to verify EFT payments.
  • Process card transactions (over the counter / phone) to finalise any outstanding repair charges.
  • Service Counter: Facilitate over the counter product collection, ensuring all repair charges are settled prior to the release of the product (COD customers only).
  • Despatch: Package products with sufficient protection for transport and create consignment notes using Toll online software. Ensure all outgoing packages are prepared and manifest signed in accordance with the Toll driver's collection time.
  • Manage all spare parts orders (AX and CDSS) for Melbourne technician/s.

About you


The position will require someone who is computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and has a great keen of attention to detail and accuracy.

Ideally you have a previous experience in a customer service or Data Entry related role who developed a remarkable time management skills and ability to prioritize work.
