About the role

  • UGLs Manufacturing & Maintenance business are seeking a Quality Improvement Coordinator to join the team at our Spotswood heavy maintenance facility in Victoria on a permanent full time basis.
  • Reporting to the Site Manager, the role of the Quality and Improvement Coordinator is to promote and maintain management systems in accordance with certification (ISO9001; ISO14001 and AS4801), statutory and business requirements.
  • The role shall ensure compliance to system processes by the undertaking and facilitation of internal and external audits, process sampling and inspections. The role shall assist the site with the identification and recording of nonconformances, investigations and root cause analysis, and the identification and implementation of corrective and preventive actions. The role shall also assist with the identification and facilitation of continuous improvement initiatives.

About you

  • Tertiary qualifications, ideally in Safety, Engineering, Health Science background or Environment.
  • Lead Auditor Qualification in AS4801 or equivalent.
  • Investigation Training, ICAM desirable.
  • Previous experience working in a heavy industry environment desired
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and report writing skills
  • Customer focused, team oriented, accountable and results driven.
