Your new role

  • The Quality and Improvement department works collaboratively with clinical and nonclinical staff across The Royal Melbourne Hospital to provide Safe, Timely, Effective, Personcentred care and facilitate continuous improvement.
  • You will work closely with the Comprehensive Care Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) to ensure organisationwide compliance with the National Safety and Quality in Health Service (NSQHS) Comprehensive Care Standard, focussing on identifying, implementing and evaluating processes related to care at the end of life and other areas as needed.
  • You'll be involved in making recommendations on actions to improve patient, consumer and family experience of end of life care, advance care planning, clinical decision making/Goals of Care and Voluntary Assisted Dying.
  • Drive improvements in Comprehensive Care, with a focus on end of life care.
  • Coordinate the activities of the Personalising End of Life Care Committee, ensuring that actions are progressed and met.
  • Be part of a health service with highly specialised and expert teams.

About You

  • Tertiary health professional qualification
  • Demonstrated knowledge of quality improvement science and translation to practice
  • Demonstrated project management skills
