About the role:


We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Analyst to identify and oversee the Student Management System (SMS) and related process improvements to streamline and enhance system utilisation and data quality as well as minimise errors and adapt to changes in government compliance.


Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Planning, executing, and delivering projects.
  • Liaising with Technology One's Application Managed Services (AMS) to manage SMS enhancements for improved functionality.
  • Building operational capability and capacity through the development and delivery of a suite of training modules for staff.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to establish and prioritise system and process issues for review.
  • Collate and analyse information and document current state process and develop system or process solution options for consideration.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of new processes and upgraded system functionality, through user feedback and analysis.

  • Relevant degree together with strong experience in a business analyst, project and/or student administration role; or lesser formal qualifications with substantial experience in one or more of the specified fields.
  • Demonstrated capacity to evaluate complex processes and problems, identify areas for improvement and develop effective and informed solutions.
  • Well developed stakeholder management skills that foster a collaborative and effective approach to ensure optimal outcomes and successful change management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills particularly as relates to comprehensive documentation of processes, development and delivery of training resources, effective gathering of process requirements and project reporting.
  • Strong IT skills including experience with complex management information systems (preferably student management systems) and a demonstrated trackrecord in driving their effective utilisation and optimisation.
  • Demonstrated skills in the coordination and implementation of system and process changes.
  • Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to plan and coordinate workload effectively with limited supervision.
