Your new role


We are looking for a People Culture and Development (PCD) Project Officer who is a dedicated team player, relationship builder, innovator and problem solver.

You will have recent experience supporting operational and/or strategic PCD projects and can work autonomously to deliver outcomes.


Key priorities of this role will be to support the OD team with a focus on diversity and inclusion (including actions from our GEAP and the implementation of our training calendar), review of our e-learning and assist with the review of hybrid working at Knox.


This is a temporary full-time role (until 17/3/2025), remuneration will be in the range of $92,933 to $101,496 (depending on experience) pro-rata plus superannuation in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee.

What you will need to thrive

The key selection criteria for this role are:

  • Proven experience in all aspects of project management including planning, risk, timelines and task management.
  • Welldeveloped organisational and time management skills, with a proven track record of completing projects on time using disciplined project planning skills.
  • Highly developed interpersonal, computer and oral communication skills and strong presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within the PCD team and teams across the organisation and skills in building successful relationships with other internal stakeholders.
  • A continuous improvement mindset in the ongoing effort to improve products, services and processes.
  • Ability to support the development and management of project plans, reports and project communications.
  • Demonstrated commitment to working in a way that reflects Knox City Council's values which includes working in an integrated, collaborative and innovative way with others.
  • Working across PCD areas of expertise you are the support mechanism behind the success of key projects and will empower our diverse PCD team to thrive and prosper.
