Overview

The Director of Sales and Revenue Growth will be responsible for overseeing the commercial strategy of the hotel, driving revenue growth through effective sales and marketing efforts. This role requires a strong understanding of the hotel industry, market trends, and competitor analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Analysis and Research

Conduct thorough market research to understand demand, customer preferences, and seasonal trends.

Commercial Strategy Development

Work collaboratively with the Revenue team to develop and implement dynamic pricing models based on demand, booking patterns, and competitor rates.

Marketing Campaigns

Develop targeted marketing campaigns for different segments, such as local businesses, to maximize exposure and revenue for the hotel.

Sales and Marketing Alignment

Ensure that sales and marketing efforts are aligned with the commercial strategy to drive revenue growth.

Brand Management

Develop a strong brand presence that resonates with the hotel's target audience and differentiates from competitors.

Performance Analysis

Actively seek opportunities to create and share best practices, remain receptive to continual improvement and problem-solving relating to performance.

Collaboration with Accor Commercial Leaders

Work with Accor Commercial Leaders to establish optimal business mix, review and validate revenue forecasts to improve accuracy, and develop strategies for different demand periods.

Requirements

  • Education

Bachelor Degree in Business, Marketing, or similar.

Experience

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior hotel sales capacity, with experience leading a team to achieve results.

Skills

Confident and articulate communication, negotiation, relationship, and networking skills, with understanding of some or all hotel market segments and current trends.
