About Your Role:
Work Package Manager


Our Underwater System team has an exciting opportunity for an experienced
Work Package Manager to join our team in a full-time permanent position based on-site at Rydalmere.

This role will provide support to the Towed Array Production team as well providing supporting the Project Management teams.

As a Work Package Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing, maintaining and reporting on production and repair schedules
  • Maintaining Primavera baselines and providing schedule updates
  • Monitoring and auditing of Inventory levels to ensure on time delivery of Work Orders
  • Promote continuous improvement on security, safety, quality, cost, delivery and team
  • Developing positive working relationships with other Thales support functions
  • Coordinating solutions for product and process nonconformances
  • Supporting the project management function with Bids, quotations, budgets, etc.
  • Supporting structured problemsolving teams and workshops

Skills, Qualifications & Experience:


We are looking for a switched-on and confident person to be an integral part of our team, who's not afraid to engage with people at all levels.


  • A bachelor's degree in project management, engineering or similar
  • Previous experience in a similar role in a production or engineering field
  • Strong project management skills
  • Demonstrated combination of technical and leadership skills
  • Demonstratable problem solving skills
  • Good initiative, selfmanagement and planning skills.
  • Strong customer focus and external relationship management
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
