As the inhouse Workplace Relations expert, you will offer frontline support to this peak body's membership base as they navigate their way around interpreting Awards, negotiating employment agreements assisting them manage their way through all raft of IR/ER issues.

Much of the support that you provide this cohort may develop into a broad range of bespoke projects and fee-for-service opportunities, so your day-to-day, week-by-week schedule will be extremely varied, extraordinarily interesting and provide you with the challenge of helping members work their way through what can be a complex ER/IR landscape.


A thorough understanding of the Fair Work Act, ability to negotiate employment agreements and understand and interpret Awards are 3 mandatory requirements for this role.

Possessing a true passion for all thigs IR/ER and working alongside people who need your expertise to coach, guide, advise, support and train will be key to the success of this role.

Appropriate tertiary qualifications are essential together with demonstrated experience in a Workplace Relations role is essential.

A strong commitment to provision of excellent member support with a genuine passion for dealing with, and supporting people, is critical to this rewarding, varied and challenging role.
