Seeking an experienced Female Support Worker for a Client in Narre Warren.

  • Required for Thursday 16th and Saturday 19th, 8 hour shift each day.
  • Full PPE must be worn and frequently changed at clients request (PPE provided)
  • Personal care, Community Access, Meal prep, Medication administration required
  • English must be first language (Client request)
  • Must be able to follow the clients routine. Information provided.
  • Must not have been in contact with anyone with COVID19 within 2 weeks.

About the Role
Supporting Abilities for Everyone (S.A.F.E.) is seeking passionate Disability Support Workers to join the team, located throughout Melbourne.

We are looking for competent, enthusiastic and reliable Support Workers who possess the right empathy, interpersonal skills and ethics to prioritise the care of our clients.

We currently have casual opportunities available for all successful applicants.

Support Workers are directly responsible for the day to day support, personal care and personal development of our clients. Shifts are dependent on client needs, varying in length, location and requirements. You will be matched with clients based on your availability, experiences and client preferences.

Qualities we're looking for to be successful in this role:

  • Have a passion for assisting and working with people from all walks of life/with a range of disabilities and comfortable providing high-quality support with respect and dignity.
  • Have a friendly and professional attitude.
  • Be empathetic, calm, patient and compassionate by nature.
  • Comply with the NDIS Code of Conduct and S.A.F.E. Employment Agreement.
  • Studying or completed Certificate III or higher in Disability or equivalent health field *Desired, but not required.

Essential Selection Criteria (or willingness to obtain):

  • Current First Aid and CPR certificate.
  • Current National Police Check (no more than 6 months old).
  • Current Working with Children Check (Employee status/if working with participants
