We are seeking a highly motivated administrative or customer service professional with a strong customer focus who wishes to develop a career in strata management, a dynamic and fast-growing sector of the Australian property industry.

Strata Complete is an industry specialist in managing residential and commercial unit complexes. We assist to look after our owners' groups most valuable assets, their investment properties, and their homes.

You will join a small team that prides themselves on having fun while working hard to be the best strata managers in Southern Tasmania.

We are on the lookout for a

full time Strata Administration Officer to join our team. The role is initially a contract role for approximately 8 months with the strong possibility to become permanent. The role is varied, and instrumental to our core business of delivering professional strata management services.

About the role:

  • Build your strata knowledge through hands on experience.
  • Provide administrative support to two Strata Managers in the delivery of strata services.
  • Assume responsibility for general office duties (mail collection, meeting venue bookings, stationery ordering etc).
  • Maintain reoccurring property maintenance schedules including annual window cleaning and gutter cleaning.
  • Utilise systems and databases to create and/or manage documentation such as Minutes, Agendas, Notices and By Laws.
  • Maintain owner database.
  • Liaise with insurance brokers to place strata insurance policies and assist with claims.
  • Support the growth of the business by building strong relationships with owners, residents, property agents and contractors.
  • Organise yourself and other team members to efficiently complete tasks within the strata operations workflow.
  • As required, attend AGM with Strata Manager.

What makes you stand out from the rest?

  • Experience as a personal assistant, in administration and/or customer service. Experience in the real estate industry, building (or other professional service industry) would be beneficial but not essential.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and capability to see all tasks through to completion.
  • You're known for your exceptional document administration skills and attention to detail.
  • Have a proactive, innovative, outcome focused approach.
  • You set your own goals and enjoy planning and managing your work to consistently meet deadlines.
  • Responsive and adaptable when faced with conflicting demands.
  • You're a natural communicator, you always act with the customer in mind, and enjoy working with and helping people.
  • You tend to identify problems quickly, understand the customer service workflow, and focus on solutions.
  • You don't get ruffled by difficult situations and know how to manage yourself in stressful situations.
  • You have a positive cando attitude.
  • You make effective use of multiple technology systems and software (Outlook, Excel, Word, and document management systems, etc.).
