Administration Officer - TCHI

The Opportunity


The Administration Officer works closely with the TCHI Team and is a key professional interface for TCHI with internal and external stakeholders.

This position is responsible for a range of administrative tasks and prepares and coordinates correspondence, reports and engagement activities with stakeholders and members and provides project management support to TCHI's program of work.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for all communications into and out of the TCHI office and ensuring all requests are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Providing high level executive assistance and secretarial services to the TCHI Board, Executive Committee and other Working Groups, this includes producing agendas, minutes and maintaining governance records.
  • Researching, developing and preparing written documentation which includes collecting data, producing comprehensive reports, correspondence, presentations, papers and other written and verbal briefings on behalf of TCHI.
  • Supporting the implementation of a variety of TCHI projects or work activities to support the TCHI program, including project administrative support.
  • Providing high level administrative support to the TCHI Manager Operations and the TCHI Program in alignment with existing policies and procedures, including supporting financial management and reporting.
  • Being a team player and working productively as part of a small and agile team to achieve the strategic objectives, activities and initiatives of TCHI as required by the leadership team, Executive Committee and Board.

Your Application

  • A degree level qualification in a relevant area, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
  • Experience providing project and/or secretarial support in a research environment and/or the health sector.
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills with a high level of attention to detail, a high standard of writing and presentation of written materials.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective, collaborative working relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people and organisations.
  • Practical knowledge and experience of office organisation and procedures with the ability to exercise discretion, initiative and judgement, and work within a professional and confidential environment.

Remuneration


Appointment to this role will be at HEO 5 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $96,794 pro rata comprising base salary within the range of $74,080 to $82,730 pro rata plus 17% superannuation.
