About the role
The End User Services Technician will be required to perform and/or have responsibility for duties including, but not limited to:

Identify, evaluate, and manage the adoption of appropriate tools, techniques and processes (including automation and continuous integration) to create a robust integration framework.

Develop concept and capability in alignment with technical requirements.
Develop low-level architecture and implement solutions as per agreed architectural patterns. And so much more.

About you

  • Experience in designing, implementing and supporting large scale,geographically distributed end user computing environments.
  • Experience in developing and supporting SOE baselines for VDI and thickclient endpoints.
  • Experience deploying and maintaining securityhardened endpoint devices such as thin/zero clients, laptops, desktops and mobile devices.
  • Experience designing, implementing and supporting secure print and scan solutions.
  • Developing and maintaining configuration baselines for endpoint devices using tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, Gitlab, Powershell, etc.
  • Good understanding of Active Directory, PKI certificates, Group Policy, etc.


This role will work within the Joint Command and Control Network (JC2Net) area of the Warfighting Networks and Applications Support Organisation (WSO), ICT Delivery Division, Chief Information Officer Group, Department of Defence.

The End User Services Technician will be required to perform and/or have responsibility for duties including, but not limited to:

Contribute to the development and maintenance of artefacts such as Build Guides, As-Built-As-Configured Documents, Standard Operating Procedures(SOPs), etc.

  • Work with peers in a highly collaborative and highperforming team environment.
  • Report to the Development Technical Lead in relation to status of activities,identified risks, and task completion at a high enough level to allow upward communication through the organisation.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements in a fastpaced environment to meet changing deadlines and shifting priorities.
  • Ability to work under broad direction with a high level of autonomy.
