ABOUT THE ROLE


TAFE NSW are seeking Education Support Officers to work within the Meat Trades (Retail) section based at the Hamilton Campus.

The role is responsible for providing tutoring support to learners studying the Certificate III in Butchery (Retail Butcher) as advised by a teacher.

However, the role does not include teaching or the preparation of lessons or resources and does not deliver training nor undertake assessments.


In the role, you will work closely to supplement the teaching activities by providing follow-up instruction as provided by a teacher and opportunities to practice skills to enhance the educative experience and engagement.


The positions are casual opportunities and will offer you a great work life balance to fit around your other commitments.

ABOUT YOU


Crucial to the role will be your high-level interpersonal and communication skills, including your ability to be proactive and show initiative.


To be successful in this role you must:

  • Have a minimum of three (3) years relevant and post-qualification experience in the industry relevant to your qualification. With the ability to understand the content of the learning materials and the processes used in the discipline.
