Reporting to the RTO and Training Manager, the Learning Content Developer will work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) within the business to develop engaging learning activities and assessments that will help to ensure that employees have the skills, knowledge and abilities to perform their roles.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with internal and external consultants to provide advice and support relating to management and continuous improvement of learning modules.
  • Conduct gap analysis of current content against requirements and present recommendations for future content.
  • Develop course content and activities to meet learning requirements in support of business initiatives.
  • Prepare clear and reliable briefing documents for designers and platform developers.
  • Provide advice and recommendations to training team members regarding the integration of Elearning into courses.
  • Assist the Business Systems team to create multimedia elements such as graphics, animations, videos and interactive elements as directed by storyboards.
  • Maintain quality assurance processes and protect the intellectual property in Elearning materials developed for the business.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Qualifications in IT/Design/Learning and Development or a related discipline or equivalent experience
  • Cert IV in Workplace Training and Assessment
  • Proven experience using learning design technologies to develop innovative and interactive learning content
  • Adept at working with Learning Management and Student Management Systems (LMS & SMS)
  • Experience in creating highquality resources for use in online courses
  • Knowledge of ASQA standards and how to implement them within a corporate learning environment
Experience working on projects connected with Health, Workplace Safety, Mental Health, and Government.

  • Able to integrate adult learning theory and instructional design methodology into an appropriate mix of delivery media and methods
