Key Responsibilities
  • Document Development
    • Establish and maintain a hierarchical document structure and minimum document requirements
    • Develop technical writing principles and framework for Business Management System content
    • Document lifecycle processes for developing, reviewing, publishing, and abolishing documents
  • Collaboration with Subject Matter Experts
    • Work closely with Business Management System Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and content owners to develop and review professionally published documents
    • Apply established principles to ensure consistency and quality
    • Summarise technical content into easy-to-read and comprehensible language and format
    • Utilise language that is aligned to legislation (where applicable)
    • Utilise established style guides and templates
    • Ensure content is accessible and complies with departmental writing guides
  • Quality Assurance
    • Review and edit documents to ensure accuracy and consistency
    • Ensure all documents meet the required standards and guidelines
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Communication or a related field
  • Technical writing experience, preferably in a business management system context
